Had a leak patched. It's been holding for a few months now so it seems like a solid repair. The roofer was professional but didn't give me much information about the long-term outlook.

The roof replacement looked fine at first, but after the first heavy rain I noticed water staining on the ceiling in the attic. They came back and found they'd missed flashing around a vent pipe. Fixed it but left me worried about the rest of the work.

Update: everything is still holding up great months later. Had a persistent leak around the chimney flashing. Other roofers couldn't figure it out, but this crew identified the problem immediately — step flashing had been improperly installed. They redid it and we haven't had a drop of water since. Thumbs up from our family.

Good roof replacement overall. The new shingles look nice and the clean-up was thorough. Only issue was they ran into some rotted decking and the extra cost added up. They showed me the damage before proceeding though.
