Update: everything is still holding up great months later. The fried chicken here is incredible — crispy skin, juicy meat, seasoned perfectly. Sides were all made from scratch. Collard greens, mac and cheese, and cornbread that reminded me of my grandmother's. A real gem.

Best brunch spot in the area. The shrimp and grits are outstanding and the biscuits are made fresh. The mimosa bar is a nice touch too. Gets busy on weekends so get there early.

Long wait even with a reservation. When the food finally came, my pasta was lukewarm and underseasoned. The waitress was apologetic and they took it off the bill, but first impressions matter.
